First released in 2015, Dead Man's Fingers Spiced Rum was created by the owners of the Rum & Crab Shack in St Ives, Cornwall using a Caribbean base rum.  The name refers to the inedible gills found inside crabs which are called 'dead man's fingers' because, according to ancient folklore, anyone who ate them would die.

Being determined to create a unique and unconventional rum, the Dead Man's Fingers team uses flavours from saffron cake and Pedro Ximénez ice cream alongside more traditional vanilla, nutmeg and orange flavours.  Originally only available in the Rum & Crab Shack, Dead Man's Fingers Spiced Rum is now sold in major supermarkets and bars across the UK.
